Gatlinburg Craftsmen's Fair

The 37th annual Gatlinburg Craftsmen's Fair is underway.  The fair began on October 11 and will continue until October 28, 2012 at the Gatlinburg Convention Center.  Voted as one of the top 20 "Most Popular Events" in the southern U.S. by the Southeast Tourism Society,  the Gatlinburg Craftsmen's Fair host Artisans and Craftsmen from all over the United States.  There are over 200 booths with unique and one-of-a-kind handmade products, are displayed, as these skilled individuals demonstrate their talents.  Each participant is subject to a jury process to insure the uniqueness and quality of their products. The Artisans and Craftsmen of the Gatlinburg Craftsmen's Fair not only make their products available for viewing and sale, but also demonstrate their special talents and skills during the show. Happy Easter

Easter is a time for Springtime Festivals and a holiday for Christians to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.  Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville, Tennessee have several different Easter Festivals and Celebrations for visitors and locals of all ages.  On Saturday, April 7, 2012, The Pigeon Forge Community Center will a host brunch with the Easter Bunny at the Old Mill Square at 8 am followed by an Easter Egg Hunt at Pigeon Forge City Park at 10 am. The Easter Egg Hunt is split up into 4 differentage groups so every kid has a chance to participate.  The times are staggered so that parents with kids in different age groups will have a chance to regroup and watch all kids participate. The age groups consist of 3 and under, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12.  The Easter Egg Hunt is a free event however their is a charge for brunch with the Easter Bunny.  Spaces are limited so you might want to get your tickets today. ...

Gatlinburg Summer Events

If you are visiting Gatlinburg in July and August, we suggest you check out the semiannual Gatlinburg Craftsmen's Fair and see the creativity of our talented local artist. Also enjoy the Fair's live entertainment of Bluegrass and Country Music. The fair runs from July 16 - July 24 from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday - Saturday and 10:00 am - 5:00 pm on Sunday at the Gatlinburg Convention Center. Also while walking the streets of Gatlinburg don't forget to stop and watch our sidewalk performers of the Smoky Mountain Tunes and Tales. This is a great time to learn about the mountain heritage. Springfest in Gatlinburg

March 11 started Springfest in Gatlinburg! During this time, you see the town transform into the wonderful spring season. Spring flowers will be planted throughout the town. Starting today through April 3rd is the annual Easter Arts & Crafts show at the Gatlinburg convention center. There you can see some of the great work by some of our local artists. April 4th is Easter! Ober Gatlinburg will be hosting their 12th annual Easter Sunrise service. Tram rides up to mountain will start at 6:00 am. If you are visiting the area during this time, several local churches will also have sunrise services. April 22 will be Gatlinburg's Ribfest and Wings! This is a lot of fun, but you might want to get there early and allow time for finding and place to park. These are just a few of the great things that will be going on during the next few months.
