Dollywood's Kidfest

This weekend Dollywood will kick of its annual KidsFest, starting on June 22 and running through July 29.  The KidFest at Dollywood is the largest children's festival in the south with a variety of entertainers, shows, characters, and more importantly it is tailored specifically for children.  This annual festival seems to get bigger and better each year as the quality of shows and performers keeps getting bigger and better. It has become one of the most popular festivals put on by Dollywood each year and has been a fantastic thing to do in Pigeon Forge during the summer months while children are out of school.  Some of this years KidsFest events and activities include:

  • Dolly's Imagination Playhouse
  • Chris Perondi’s Stunt Dog Experience
  • The Gazillion Bubbles Show
Dolly's Imagination Playhouse is a 20 minute musical that brings three children's books to life.  The books presented this year include: The Little Engine Who Could, Otis, and Ladybug Girl and the Bug Squad.

Chris Perondi's Stunt Dog Experience is new to KidsFest this year that features 12 very talented animals.  These dogs will perform many acrobatic stunts and tricks that are sure to stun the entire family.

The Gazillion Bubbles Show is an amazing show that the whole family most see!  All kids love bubbles, but this show will make all adults love bubbles.  The stage is filled with bubbles and a bubble artist who can do some unbelievable thinks with these bubbles.

KidsFest is filled with fun activities for children of all ages and the adults are sure to have some fun also.

As Real Estate Agents The Derosia Team likes statistics.  In particular, we like to compare the market from year to year.  We would like to share some comparisons for 2006-2011 to show you how the market has changed. We focused on each individual area of Sevier County and the Volume Sold per area.  Here are a couple visual aids to show the change in the Smoky Mountains. Volume of Sales for 2006-2011 This is the same information just a different representation of the data! Volume of Sales for 2006-2011 We also compared the total volume sold for Sevier County as a whole through 2006-2011.   So as the economy suggest the market has dropped since 2006 & 2007.  However on a positive note the market for 2008-2011 has been somewhat consistent in the Smoky Mountains with a slow rise in volume.
