Top 10 Great Places to Discover

Are you trying to decide on a family vacation for 2012?  Why not choose Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg which were voted among the top 10 Great Places to Discover in 2011 by tripadvisor.com.  Pigeon Forge was # 4 with Gatlinburg right behind at # 6.  Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are nestled right in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park with plenty of activities and attractions for all ages.  

While in Pigeon Forge you can visit Dollywood and enjoy your day riding the various attractions or you can have a relaxing day enjoying all the shows that Dollywood has to offer.  Pigeon Forge also has Dolly's Splash Country where you can spend your day on the lazy river or zooming done the water slides.  

Don't forget to take a trip into Gatlinburg while you are in the Smoky Mountains.  While in Gatlinburg don't forget to visit the Aquarium or Ripley's Believe It or Not.  If you are looking for a great free family outing take a drive into the national park and enjoy the beauty the Smoky Mountains have to offer.  You can drive around the 11 mile Cades Cove loop where you can enjoy trails, wildlife, and the 19th century historic buildings.

As Real Estate Agents The Derosia Team likes statistics.  In particular, we like to compare the market from year to year.  We would like to share some comparisons for 2006-2011 to show you how the market has changed. We focused on each individual area of Sevier County and the Volume Sold per area.  Here are a couple visual aids to show the change in the Smoky Mountains. Volume of Sales for 2006-2011 This is the same information just a different representation of the data! Volume of Sales for 2006-2011 We also compared the total volume sold for Sevier County as a whole through 2006-2011.   So as the economy suggest the market has dropped since 2006 & 2007.  However on a positive note the market for 2008-2011 has been somewhat consistent in the Smoky Mountains with a slow rise in volume.
