Pigeon Forge Winterfest Kickoff
November 6, 2018
4 p.m.

Join in on the fun at Patriot Park in Pigeon Forge, TN. Enjoy food vendors, children's games and live entertainment with headliner Chris Blue, winner of Season 12 of the voice. City officials will flip the switch and Pigeon Forge will be aglow with spectacular lights throughout. 
Winter Magic Kickoff & Chili Cookoff
November 7, 2018
5-8 p.m.
$10

Sample chili from over 20 different vendors at this family friendly event. The event will be held downtown Gatlinburg and features mouthwatering chili and free entertainment. Jimbo Whaley and Greenbrier band will perform at 5:15 and event headliner The Petty Hearts will perform at 6:15. City Dignitaries will signify the start of Winter Magic with the ceremonial lighting of over 3 million lights. 
City of Sevierville
November 9-February 28

The City of Sevierville is not doing a Winterfest kick-off event this year. However, you can still enjoy millions of lights throughout the entire Winterfest season. The lights will be turned on November 9.

As Real Estate Agents The Derosia Team likes statistics.  In particular, we like to compare the market from year to year.  We would like to share some comparisons for 2006-2011 to show you how the market has changed. We focused on each individual area of Sevier County and the Volume Sold per area.  Here are a couple visual aids to show the change in the Smoky Mountains. Volume of Sales for 2006-2011 This is the same information just a different representation of the data! Volume of Sales for 2006-2011 We also compared the total volume sold for Sevier County as a whole through 2006-2011.   So as the economy suggest the market has dropped since 2006 & 2007.  However on a positive note the market for 2008-2011 has been somewhat consistent in the Smoky Mountains with a slow rise in volume.
